At 91, I.M. Pei still has a flair of a young designer. This is evident in the newly completed Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar, which opens on November 22, 2008. What is interesting about this museum is that most of the exhibits are designed as an intrinsic part of the wall system. On a tectonic level, the museum is no longer a building but an artifact in itself and its structure is the art.
